I love the way the light spills across this image of feather adorned dancers waiting to perform in the Boi Bumba or Festa do Boi folklore festival in Parintins, Brazil. This pageant is a combination of theatrical show, dance and music in a Carnivale style performance with elaborate costumes, props and floats.

James and Bernardo. Thanks for commenting, great suggestions. I like the high key effect in the background as I needed to blow it out since it was quite cluttered. It's all about the perspective, muted colors and since of drama. These girls were quite introspective just before their super high energy performance. Cheers!
